A Unique, Exciting, and Educational Eco-Tourism Experience.
Carbon-Neutral, Sustainable, Responsible, and FUN!!!
For over 30 years we have worked hard to form trusting partnerships with naturalists, researchers, community and tribal leaders in beautiful Belize, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Honduras, and Mexico. There is so much to be learned from our local partners and friends at Fundación Neotropica, Yakum, Soberania Field Station in Gamboa, National Association for the Conservation of Nature (ANCON), the Emberá Village, GreenRainforest, La Milpa Field Station and Programme for Belize, Glovers Reef Research Station, and so many others.
Our all-inclusive trips are environmentally sustainable, educational, and safe for youth, but they are also fun. Swing on vines, explore caves, swim in waterfalls, snorkel with lemon sharks and stingrays, and dance the night away with old and new friends alike.
Currently our programming is geared toward high school and college-aged students. Reservations are refundable and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Youth and young adults from all over the world are invited to join us. Group leaders or teachers who secure 6 or more signups, attend for free (flight not included), assuming the group is full (typically groups are 12 or more).
Trip dates may be added, based on demand. The cost for 2022 trips has not been set, but the majority of our trip costs will always go directly to our hosts and host communities so that they can continue their reforestation, conservation, and education work. We also ensure that a portion of the trip costs go toward carbon offsets. More about the CarbonFund and our carbon offset program is forthcoming.
Making our trips accessible to youth of all economic backgrounds and means is very important to us. Thus, we are offering low to moderate income students to apply for scholarships and full or partial financial assistance.
